AEROSCAN

Overview

We’re building an autonomous drone system that combines AI and robotics, and we’re looking for people to join the team. If you’re interested in drones, robotics, or programming, and have some basic experience with Python, control, or computer vision, this is a great opportunity to work on a hands-on project with real impact.

Description

AEROSCAN is an AI-powered drone system designed to navigate a warehouse, find QR-coded packages, scan them, and create a digital inventory of the space.

The project already has a working vision system that detects and reads QR codes. The next step is to connect this system to the Crazyflie drone so it can move through the warehouse, position itself correctly to scan each code, and store the data it collects. A key part of the project is figuring out how the drone should move efficiently. This includes developing route planning strategies so the drone can cover the warehouse in the shortest time while still finding and scanning all packages.

By combining AI, computer vision, and drone control, the goal is to build a system that can carry out inventory tasks autonomously and reliably.
